Business Administration:

Level 1 Certificate in Business Administration (RQF)

This qualification is aimed at individuals who may be new to working within a business and administration role and wish to improve their knowledge and understanding of the topics it covers. It is designed for learners who work in a variety of work environments and sectors.

The total qualification time is 250 hours, of which, 150 hours are recommended as guided learning hours.

Topics include principles of personal performance and development, health and safety in a business environment, principles of business administration, using a telephone and voicemail system, meeting and welcoming visitors in a business environment, producing business documents, dealing with customer queries, requests and problems and word processing software.

This qualification is assessed by a portfolio of evidence.

Level 2 Certificate in Principles of Business and Administration (RQF)

This qualification is aimed at individuals who are working within a business and administration role who wish to improve their knowledge of business administration tasks and is applicable to a variety of work environments and sectors.

The total qualification time for this qualification is 130 hours, of which, 104 are recommended as guided learning hours.

Topics include principles of personal responsibilities and working in a business environment, principles of managing information and producing documents, principles of supporting change in a business environment, principles of maintaining stationery stock, principles of contributing to innovation and change, principles of budgets in a business environment and principles of project management.

This qualification is assessed by a portfolio of evidence.

Customer Service:

Level 3 Certificate in Customer Service (RQF)

This qualification is aimed at learners who are new to the customer service sector and wish to improve their knowledge of this area resulting in the achievement of a nationally recognised qualification.  The qualification provides learners with the knowledge and understanding in customer service for learners who deal, or intend to deal, with customers on a daily basis as part of their job role and is applicable to a variety of work environments.

WHAT DOES THE QUALIFICATION COVER?
Topics include:
• Principles of customer service delivery
• Developing and improving the customer service process
• Principles of impact on customers expectations
• Legislation

Course Duration: 105 Guided Learning Hours (1 day classroom based)

Level 3 Diploma in Customer Service (RQF)

This qualification is aimed at individuals who wish to build on their knowledge and skills in the customer service sector. It is designed for learners who deal with customers on a daily basis as part of their job role in a senior position and is applicable to a variety of work environments. It forms both the knowledge and competency requirements of the SASE Framework Advanced Apprenticeship in Customer Service and can also be taken on a stand-alone basis.

WHAT DOES THE QUALIFICATION COVER?

• Using service partnerships to deliver customer service
• Negotiating in a business environment
• Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
• Business innovation and growth
